Solid Waste Management

Our Solid Waste Management program focuses on building cleaner, healthier communities through responsible waste handling practices and active citizen participation. We believe that sustainable change starts with awareness and everyday action — segregating today for a better tomorrow.

Through waste segregation awareness campaigns, we promote source segregation of waste into categories such as wet, dry, sanitary, and hazardous waste, helping ensure that materials are processed correctly and safely. Our recycling initiatives encourage the reuse and recycling of dry, recyclable waste to conserve natural resources and reduce the burden on landfills.

Community participation lies at the heart of our approach — we work closely with families, schools, and local residents to build shared responsibility for cleaner surroundings. Through hands-on drives and educational outreach, we encourage households to adopt correct segregation practices at the source.

Finally, we champion sustainable disposal practices, promoting eco-friendly methods for the safe handling and disposal of waste, including hazardous and sanitary materials, to minimize environmental and health risks. Complementing these efforts are community clean-up drives, where volunteers come together to clear litter from public spaces, parks, and neighborhoods, embodying the spirit of "reduce, reuse, recycle."
